Grow your photography business with a podcast | ep 89
Summary
I talk about how photographers can use podcasts to promote their businesses. I also share various ways in which photographers can create content that builds trust, establishes authority, and attracts clients, from creating educational content, to promoting services or products.
As a photographer-turned video podcaster, I was honestly very skeptical at first because I thought that whatever content I created, needed to be visual. And while video has a strong presence in the podcasting world, video has not killed the podcast star!
They key to a successful podcast, is knowing the role the podcast has in the business and aligning the content with the overall business goals.
Takeaways
Podcasts can be a powerful tool for photographers to promote their businesses and attract clients.
Creating educational content, sharing behind-the-scenes footage, and hosting Q&A sessions can help establish authority and build trust with the audience.
Interviewing experts and appearing on other podcasts can expand the photographer's network and reach new clients.
Promoting services, products, and workshops through podcasts can drive sales and generate revenue.
It is important to align the podcast content with the goals of the photography business and know the role the podcast will play in the overall strategy.
