Episode 6: Business, Productivity and Covid-19 | The Focus & Bloom Podcast

On today’s episode I will be sharing some tips on how to grow your business during these difficult times in which social distancing is the new thing.

Those of us who operate businesses online whether partially or entirely, might feel ok (ish) when it comes to handling technology that helps move the business forward. However, many business owners are finding themselves in a situation where they are forced to move part of their business operations online.

With this in mind, here are some tips you can do to help keep your business moving forward

  1. First and foremost, make sure you and your family is well and prioritize your health and follow the recommendations from your local authorities.

  2. Check client communications, pending orders or follow ups that you need to complete. Revise everything you’ve got going in the next one or two months.

  3. Prioritize those that have an upcoming appointments or meetings with you and determine what the best course of action is depending on the scope of the project.

  4. Revise your contracts, check your terms and conditions and cancellations, rescheduling policies. These times are rapidly changing and being flexible is important.

  5. If you need to stay at home, use this time at home to work on the basics of your business. Revise your goals.

  6. Create a plan of action. Determine what you can do (realistically) speaking. Think of ways on how you can improve the client experience online. It might even mean that you end up creating a completely new product or service!

  7. Have you thought of having multiple streams of income?

  8. If you’re new to working at home or  have recently started to work from home, make sure to set a routine that fits your needs.

  9. Now that you have a plan in place, put it to action. Test it out and see how it goes.

  10. Stay motivated and keep on building and weaving those goals and crushing them.
